    Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express likely to start in April

    Indian Railways will soon launch the new Vande Bharat Express between New Delhi and Ajmer via Jaipur. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced this good news. Ahead of the launch of the high-speed train, the railway minister also focused on some required technical changes in the proposed route, such as the installation of a two-dimensional security system and the removal of some arches. Prior to this announcement, it was speculated that the railway would run Rajasthan's first Vande Bharat train with Jaipur as its final destination.

    Estimated train departure date

    According to North Western Railway, the new Vande Bharat Express is likely to run in the first week of April after the train passes trials. “Based on joint discussion between North Western Railway and Northern Railway, it has been proposed to run this service between Jaipur and New Delhi as per the earlier proposal. Now the proposal has been revised to run the Vande Bharat train between Ajmer and Delhi via Jaipur,” the NWR circular said.

    Expected train day

    As per the proposal, passengers can use the facilities of the new Vande Bharat Express six times a week, i.e. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This means that the expressway will not be available for commuters on Wednesday.

    Estimated Time of Ajmer-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express

    As per the Ajmer-New Delhi Railway proposal, Vande Bharat Express will start its journey from Ajmer at 6:10 AM and reach New Delhi at 12:15 PM. It will take six hours and five minutes to cover a distance of approximately 364 kilometres. The express will return to Ajmer on the same day. It will start its journey from New Delhi at 18:10 and reach Ajmer at 0:15 the next day, taking six hours and five minutes.

The express will stop at several stations during its journey, including Jaipur, Alwar and Gurugram railway stations. The Vande Bharat Express is capable of travelling at a maximum speed of 180 km/h (110 mph).
